Relic rewards you for bringing in new members. When someone signs up using your referral code, you earn bonus points that are added directly to your balance. This page explains how the referral program works, where to find your code, and how to share it effectively.

How the referral program works

Each Relic account comes with a unique referral code. When a new user enters your code during signup, the referral is recorded and bonus points are added to your account once the signup is confirmed.
1

Find your referral code

Your code is displayed in two places: the Points dashboard (in the Referrals card on the right side) and the Referrals tab inside Account Settings.
2

Share your code

Copy the code and send it to anyone you think would benefit from Relic. They will enter it during the signup process.
3

Earn bonus points

When your friend completes signup using your code, bonus points are added to your balance. The Referrals card on your Points dashboard shows your running count of successful referrals.

Finding your referral code

Points dashboard

Open the Points section from the left sidebar. The Referrals card in the right column shows your code and a copy button. Your referral count appears in the top corner of the card.

Account Settings

Open Account Settings from the sidebar and go to the Referrals tab. Your code is displayed there along with a button to copy it to your clipboard.

Copying your code

Click the copy icon next to your referral code in either location. The app copies the code to your clipboard instantly and briefly shows a confirmation checkmark.
After copying, paste your code directly into a message, email, or social post so you do not have to re-open the app each time you share.

How friends use your code

When someone creates a new Relic account, the signup form includes an optional field for a referral code. They enter your code there before completing registration. Once their account is created, the referral is linked to you automatically.
The referral code must be entered during signup. It cannot be applied retroactively to an existing account.

Tips for sharing your referral code

Relic works best for people who spend significant time at their computer. Friends who work in knowledge work, design, research, or similar fields are the most likely to benefit.
Give your referral context. A short explanation - that Relic awards points for approved screen activity submissions and that the process is passive - helps people decide quickly whether it is a good fit.
Always copy your code directly from the app rather than typing it from memory. A single mistyped character means the referral will not be attributed to you.
